As part of the core and shell planning for the research development property, this building lobby offers a modern interpretation of its historic surroundings. I was involved in the initial design and coordination process, guiding the project from concept through approval and into construction.
The city's vibrant and rich history of industrial manufacturing, diverse trades, and extensive transportation connections influenced the design aesthetics and thoughtful selection of finishes for this unique space.

This impressive building embodies Emeryville's vibrant reputation as a dynamic hub that connects many diverse destinations and a variety of interconnected activities. I drew inspiration from the concept of an urban terminal, making it a focal point for community engagement and interaction.
